It all started when I graduated from college and found myself with a big, empty space to decorate.
My first apartment out of college was actually more of a converted industrial space and the empty walls taunted me for weeks before I asked my friends to put me out of my misery and give me some advice.
They all suggested that I start choosing art, and take advantage of all of that space. One friend gave me a steve hanks book for my birthday, to start me off.
I loved Steve Hanks’ work so much I began adding prints, one at a time. Soon my walls were covered with art, most of them Steve Hanks.
And it’s a funny thing. On my way to upgrading to a house I decided to stay in my industrial loft. I’d fallen in love with it and my mini gallery. I still live there.
