My mom was the one that instilled in me a love for art and creation of the fantastic, and she did this by starting me out with pencils and charcoals, when I was just a nine year old kid. She set the example for me, by drawing sketch creations of these fabulous old dead tree trunks, that were full of the texture of the bark and knots in the elderly trees. To this day when I want to release some stress and create something impressive, I grab my pencils and begin to render on paper my interpretation of any texture that I can find, and express myself through art.
