I have used the career services department of my college many times to search for jobs. As an alumna, I have access to many job listings that are updated regularly. However, since I went to a very specialized school, the results tend to be limited to certain industries such as design and media. So while this is a great resource, I often supplement my job search by doing a general search of the entire internet in my target fields and in the cities where I am most interested in working. Fortunately, there are a lot of websites with job listings so they are easy to find.
