The company that produces the only vaccine for anthrax that’s licensed by the FDA, BioThrax, is led by a man with impressive qualifications. Fuad El-Hibri is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emergent BioSolutions, Inc. He was born in Hildesheim, Germany in 1958, but spent his youth in both the Middle East and Europe before coming to the United States. He got his start when he earned his degree in economics from Stanford and an MBA at Yale. This man was given the Ernest and Young award for Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 in the technology category.
