The Office is a superb comedy TV series, well known in the United Kingdom. The programme was such a hit that the our American friends decided to launch their own interpretation of the series to suit American viewers. Unfortunately, the US audiences didn’t quite catch on to the sense of humour and comedic value the authors were attempting to produce. Fundamentally The Office is about a bundle of staff who work in an office in concert in a not so pleasant area of London. It concentrates on their clownlike boss who is incompetent at managing the team. There are plenty of funny moments by the Water coolers as well. Pity it didn’t catch on in the US.
