One of the coolest things I ever heard from my doctor were these really good weight loss tips. I wasn’t expecting them, but he spent at least twenty minutes giving me the ins and outs of good, healthy weight loss.

Normally, when a doctor tells a patient to lose weight, that’s pretty much all they say. “You need to lose weight!” Or something else equally unhelpful.

But this particular time, he went over some foods I could eat, and even asked me what kind of food I liked, and made some suggestions that would be easy for me to take.

He even suggested a few exercises for me to do, going as far as suggesting a walking course, since his office was pretty close to where I live.

If you can ever get good advice like that from your doctor, be sure to take it. Now a days, doctors are so busy you are in and out fairly quickly, without even having much time to talk.
