I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Can’t teach an old dog new tricks”? Well that old dog is me and that is exactly how I felt when I recently made the decision to head back to school! I don’t know how these kids do it! I was so overwhelmed and not to mention I have a whole other life waiting for me when I get home! The kids want dinner, need help with homework and I need help with my homework! What a nightmare, well I asked my oldest daughter who is a senior in high school how on earth she retains all this information and she ran upstairs and came down with a book called “Making the Grade” that helped her get better grades. WOW this book made all the sense in the world, and I’m feeling much better about being in school. The best part is I was the one who had bought the book for her!
