When it came to the 80s, there was one music form that reigned supreme above all else: New Wave. If you were a fan of new wave, then you were definitely a fan of the “keyboards” sound that was so prominent in new wave. Today, we can see some similarities with some of the popular now that uses roland juno synthesizers in the same way it was used 20 years ago. But as pop popular music tends to do, the tide changed, and in 1992 the word Grunge was completely universal and destroyed the New Wave genre. But peoples tastes changes over and over again. Grunge eventually died, and guess what? New Wave has made somewhat of a comeback, as you hear the synthesizers from rock bands such as Coldplay.
